Apartments or Mansions in Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand

In Ubon and in most of Thailand, mansion is the term used for apartment buildings. Usually studio style rooms that are furnished. Many have room rates by the day, week and month. Mansions in Ubon are a great alternative to hotels if you are planning to stay for more than a day or two.

Meals aren't included but other amenities are available. Examples of what are offered are, hot water, air conditioniong, laundry service, cable or satellite TV, internet connection and housekeeping. You should shop around if you have specific needs. A lot of people choose to live in mansions instead of houses because of the convenience and low maintenance.

Some things to be aware of, you will be billed extra for phone usage, electric and water.

Phadaeng Mansion

Phadaeng Mansion is located in downtown Ubon Ratchathani. It is a modern fairly new establishment that is safe, secure, clean and comfortable.

You will find Phadaeng Mansion very convenient whether you are in Ubon for a few nights or a few months. It is walking distance from many restaurants and also the city park where you can relax or exercise.

Public transportation is available right outside the front door. Just walk out and hop on the bus that will take you to your destination.

Huai Muang Apartments

Huai Muang Apartments is one of the new generation of apartments now available in Ubon Ratchathani. It is new and in a great scenic location. All the rooms are clean and nicely furnished with the usual amenities, wifi, refrigerator, TV, air and a comfortable bed.

This complex is located beside the city reservoir, its namesake. It is a short walk to shopping and dining. There is a nice deck off the lobby for you to enjoy morning coffee or an evening cold drink.

You have a selection of twin beds or double bed rooms. Daily rates are 390 for twin room and 420 Baht for double bed rooms. If you have an extended stay in twin room you will recieve a discount. There is also 3 VIP rooms which are 500 Baht nightly. Ask for VIP1, it has a great view. Monthly rate is 5000 Baht for any room except VIP which are only offered on a daily basis.

Sapphasit Apartments

A new apartment complexed opened in Ubon Ratchathani. It is located downtown in the block across from Sapphasit Hostpital. The entrance is located on Phon Paen Rd. There is a sign at the entrance but it is all in Thai.

They have rooms available by the month or by the night. Nightly rate is 550 Baht and includes breakfast. Monthly rates are 4000-7500 Baht per month. Rooms are furnished and include air, hot water, large screen TV, satellite TV, and internet connection. Housekeeping, electric, water and telephone are extra.

Ban Thai

Ban Thai apartment complex is located on Luang Rd about 50 meters south of Uppalisan Rd. You can't miss it if you find your way to the north end of Luang Rd. It is a long pink building 5 stories high.Ban Thai features a lift, security, wifi and covered parking.

Monthly rates for rooms here begin at 3500 Baht. For 6500 Baht per month you can get a room that includes a cooking space, with counter and sink. No stove but you can use elecrical appliances to prepare some simple meals.

Costly Place considered a serviced apartment which is why the rate is a little more. It is located across from Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University in the parking area in the rear of Ying Charoen Park. There are 38 non-smoking rooms and 24 hour security.

Future Place Mansion is located on Phichitrangsan Rd on the west side of Upparat Rd. The rooms are small but serviceable. A small room with twin beds 300 Baht per night. A room with a double bed runs 400 Baht nightly. All the rooms have air, water heater, TV and wifi. There is a monthly rate of 3300 baht per month but only for the smaller rooms with twin beds.

Chatsuree Mansion in Ubon Ratchathani is set in a great location on the western side of Upparat Road downtown Ubon. It has 70 standard rooms all at a single nightly rate of 450 Baht. Public transportation runs by in both directions. There are many small food shops and restaurants in a short walking distance.
